Food

The food at Colgate is about the only complaint I’ve ever heard from my daughter. She doesn’t care for it much. The food service is provided by Sodexho, a large company that provides food services for companies, school districts, healthcare, concessions etc. So it’s pretty standard. Unlike Tickle, she prefers the Edge and the Coop over Frank .

But then again

In high school she was a vegetarian, at one point even vegan. And where we live there are many high end food stores like Whole Foods, Greenfields, Fairway and restaurants like Zen Palate. For someone used to that faire Colgate doesn’t offer much in the way of tasty fresh cooked veggies. When I was up for a visit I myself thought there seemed to be a lot of starchy carbs.

Which is pretty much the diet most college students like.

BTW, food aside, Frank and the Coop are very attractive appetizing looking places to eat. Frank:
