Food

I know that a couple of students started Chili Willy’s Underground Cafe a year or two back:

and I had an excellent chili (with a side of yummy baked marinated tofu) at the the health food shop/restaurant on Broad Street Monday afternoon, but I don’t know about the dorm food or Chinese selections. Supposedly if you make suggetions to the Food Halls they will try to abide; and my daughter told me that they had recently had “sushi”. But it was still Sodhexo food service sushi.

Whenever she comes home from school the first thing she wants is real sushi. And when we went out for dinner on Monday night, we went to the Tap Room at the Colgate Inn where I watched my former prtein deprived vegetarian devour steak and mashed potatoes. Even wiped the plate clean. It was like watching a movie, I’ve never seen her eat like that.

Then we attended a lecture by a visiting professor, Troy Duster ,

It was fascinting, but back at the dorm she and her roommates were more intersted in talking about her dinner (supposedly it was pancake *night *!? in Frank).
