I wouldn’t judge a restaurant, especially a Michelin starred restaurant, by its brunch unless its known for its brunch. Brunch at many places is done by a different kitchen crew than the dinner dinner crew.
This place is kind of known for its brunch. And now, in my family at least, for re-earning a star and bouncing its paychecks to employees in the same week. Good thing my daughter is careful with her money!
Wow–bouncing paychecks is a red flag! A restaurant my relative went to retained his CC and charged groceries on it, then repaid him and went out of business. My relative chose not to press charges.
