<p>There has been a lot of heartbreak in the last day or two on the forum - it is important to remember that USC is now a highly selective university. The applicant pool - all 36,000 of them - have an average GPA of 3.5 uw. That isn’t accepted students, that is **ALL 36,000 **students. <p>USC is no longer a safety for anyone, and is a match for only the very top students.</p>

<p>You certainly should apply, but be sure to have a list of universities including safeties and matches to go along with USC.</p>
