For Cornell engineering, would I have a better chance at being accepted if I apply to the College of Engineering, or should I apply to the College of Arts and Sciences and transfer?

It’s not that I don’t think I don’t have the profile, it’s just that a lot of students do and there are just limited spots. I heard it was easier to do an internal transfer, but thank you for the advice. I’m applying to a few different schools and have already been accepted into my safeties
