<p>Well, trying to get everyone into the act: quizes on midspeak and skuttlebutt at dinner, who can remember general orders of a sentry, hows the cow, what time is it…sir…the thorpedo goes along providing I sing the “goat” song everynight- how embarrasing! But he does get a kick out of it! Anyway, we call it “Skuttlebutt Bingo” and the loser gets to do the dishes!

<p>JM- can’t imagine going through a whole plebe summer only to get injured and not be able to take the oath with the rest of the class- must be tough! I remember seeing one or 2 plebes in almost every squad (??? platoon???)…last August on the yard- marching at the back of the group on their crutches no less- so at USMMA, if they are injured and unable to take the oath, what then? Are they sent home?</p>
