FOR THOSE WHO HAVE HARD TIME UCB vs UCLA

“Can’t wait to wear it to school so everyone can be green with envy.”

:( You should only wear it to identify yourself so other possible Cal transfers can meet you.

I already got the UCLA sweaters!!! Come on, how comes many of you were so excited about UCLA but now you turn toward UCB… traitors!!!

oh…and that too :)

Kev…

I still love UCLA…I will go there for graduate school…don’t you worry :)

haha, that would be me kevin…and congrats tallkell on deciding with berkeley, and thanks to gabe for the sound advice. i should be living in the now, plans may change, and my grades may suck no matter where i go to school. so as of now, count me in for berkeley, i need to start thinking about that sweater…

unless you get into berkeley…

May be I’ll go for UCLA for undergrad, UCB for Master and Standord for Ph.D haahhahahahaah i’m just day dreaming.

is it THAT cold in berkeley? obviously it’s colder than socal, but does it get unbearable in the winter or something? everyone acts as though the weather is just terrible, terrible.

its right on the ocean, it may be northern california, but coastal weather is always fairly constant. (i like the weather up there)

so yeah, that is a good reason to choose UCB  the COLDNESS!

guitarshark…you decided on berkeley?

you are a mass comm major, right? if so…me too!

“The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco.” --Mark Twain
^0^

cool weather=good weather

““The coldest winter I ever saw was the summer I spent in San Francisco.” --Mark Twain”

The key words are “I ever saw”…I’m certain it won’t be the coldest weather I have ever seen being that I was born in New York.

yea, i’m fairly sure on berkeley tallkell, it may be early, but what law schools are you looking at, and what area interests you?

“and my grades may suck no matter where i go to school. so as of now, count me in for berkeley…”

I thought about this, lol. Still yet to decide though

entertainment law

my dream school for law is ucla…for the obvious “entertainment” reasons…now, whether I have a shot at getting in is a whole other story…

but I do know for sure I want to attend law school in or around LA.

yea, Berkeley and UCLA are way competitive for law, so i’m in the same boat. i’d be ecstatic if i got into either.

I concur with g1a2b3e.

I actually wrote Boalt about that whole going to Berkeley and then attending their law school thing and got a rather quick response. Here is the whole response:

Being a UC Berkeley undergrad will not affect (positively or negatively) your chances of being admitted to Boalt. You will have the same chance as any other applicant. This is a myth.

So for anyone who ever has the question, THIS IS THE ANSWER. Dillema solved, Berkeley it is!
