For those with college kids *not* graduating this year, what are their plans?

My D has an internship that starts in June. Recruiting let her know yesterday that they will honor their offers to all interns but have no idea what the internship will look like under the circumstances.

Mine too – she is worried about it but it was supposed to start June 22 so I really hope it will be okay by then. We are northeast though so that worries me.

College junior D lost her study abroad program for the summer. Very disappointed–Spanish is one of her majors. May take an online class and work part time at a daycare where she has worked before. She also works for her university foundation, but that job is suspended for now with campus closed.

The company that our S will be interning with this summer emailed to say that while the internships are still on, they may to work remotely. Not optimal but better than sitting out this summer. Also, it’s good that the company is communicating.

We are also in the northeast. My daughter told me that she has been told her internship company has mentioned that depending on the current situation they may be working from home.

OP here with a great S update! He received a call yesterday that he’s been selected at one of the think tanks he applied to…it’s in DC and he’s been told not to worry about housing at this moment but that the (paid) work will go on – online or IRL. So one kid down, one kid to go…rough waters out there indeed…

Congratulations to your DS @SouthernHope ! Great news is greatly appreciated !!
