If you can get in (they accept 120 total, 40 per group), everything is paid for. This includes all meals, airfare, room/board, etc.
Where: ND campus</p>
<p>I went last summer; would definitely encourage people to check it out. It was completely free. We also got a lot of free merchandise including blankets, t-shirts (“The Shirt” if any of you are ND people), lanyards, etc (We joked they were trying to make us go there because we wouldn’t know what else we would do with all the stuff they gave us if we didn’t). We listened to lectures. I was in global issues and some were about: nuclear weapons proliferation, drones, AIDS, development. We also did some fun ones: we had a law professor talk about constitutional law and a physics professor explain the whole higgs boson thing. I actually know what that is now! </p>
<p>The program lasts a week; one day we went to Chicago. We saw a play, went to the bean, had alumni panel, had U Chicago lecture, visited “The Plant”. We also went rollerblading one night; we had a bonfire and a dance type thing on the last night. It was a blast. We had what were basically group presentations where we argued different sides of an issue as if we were a real person involved in the debate. Great program; would totally recommend it.</p>
