Board of trustees sent message to Cooper community late afternoon yesterday.
Current and incoming 2013 UG students are not going to be charged tuition.
It is reported = confirmed in NYT, DNA NY etc.

However this is the way NYT put it.

–Students, faculty and alumni of the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art eager to learn the fate of the college’s distinctive no-tuition policy have been told to wait, again.
–Dr. Bharucha has already said current undergraduates would be exempt from any future tuition, as will people who are accepted to join the student body this coming fall.

The college had previously indicated that a decision would be announced in March. The statement on Thursday gave no indication as to whether that was still the case.
