<p>It wouldn’t be absolutely terrible to take math your second quarter, but just know that you’d probably be one quarter behind all of your friends in math for the remainder of the series. Now, if you’re considering at all going into engineering (doesn’t appear that you are), you would absolutely want to take 21A fall quarter, because you want to finish math before your junior year, and there are six math courses in all for engineering.</p>
