<p>Lander is an amazing, hilarious, famous, and - most important - brilliant lecturer. Many of MIT’s professors are fantastic researchers but only average lecturers; Lander excels in both.</p>
<p>His class is really not that difficult - it’s an introductory biology class for people of all majors, after all - but biology tends to demand more memorization and a different kind of problem solving than other classes (e.g. math/physics), so perhaps that’s why some people consider it to be difficult.</p>
