<p>Chemistry 11 in theory has a prerequisite “score of at least 3 on the AP chemistry exam or consent.” Bio 13/14 and the physics courses don’t have any prerequisites. In terms of the difficulty of chem 11, the nature of the material is entirely dependant on your professor. At least one professor in the chemistry department teaches 11 and 1 with almost the same material, with more rigor for 11, but others don’t. That’s not to say Chem 1 isn’t difficult, it’s just that when I took 11 there were a lot of people with a good background in chemistry/were engineering majors/chem majors. Lot’s of premeds take it too.</p>
