@Flamboozle Hi there! Have you got any more information on the house set up for Freshman at UMBC? My son will take the tour next Monday and I am hopeful we will find out more. He has a good friend that they are hopeful they can room together. I honestly find UMBC’s website incredibly frustrating and confusing. My son pointed this out initially when he was looking to apply here. Its a bit astounding considering they are supposed to be the premier Computer Science school in the area! Anywhoo! If you hear of how you are going to request rooming with a particular friend would you please share. Thanks and have you decided on UMBC as a final choice? My son (and his friend) are both waiting on Virginia Tech and my son is waiting on a scholarship interview for a small college here in Maryland that really is his first choice. But he got the Premier UMBC scholarship and its going to be hard to turn down pretty much a full ride. I think we will know more when he officially tours the campus next week. Good Luck!
