I’m sorry to hear about your sister. I hope you understand that I didn’t mean anything I said in a personal way, just I got so worked up about UCM’s decision I forgot myself in some of those sentences. I apologize again.

I’m glad my form of writing entertains someone. My AP Lit teach would like to think otherwise though. :p

Raising our blood pressure against each other is not worth it but perhaps it might be if we put our collective disappointment toward the same cause.

Wow, and all this over a 5’ by 8’ (estimation btw) space. We haven’t even arrived yet and we’re plotting against the system. I love it. ;)

well…

maybe this would help all of you who are stressing.

the lake near uc merced does not charge to park during the winter.
it is right near ucm and walking from your car to ucm would probably only take like 10 minutes.

i know it stinks…

but its just a thot.

sorry i wont be able to write a response half as long as u guys(because my major is in engineering not literature/lawyer/writing) but i strongly agree with Leviathan08 on post #18 (i was thinking the same exact thing, but i didnt want to type it all out for obvious reasons).

O and UCMrcdStdnt11 has probably said the best thing in this thread so far…

It’s quite alright Arian19. Most of what I right is just fluff anyways! ;)

I sure do hope UCMrcdStdnt11 is right. Ten minutes isn’t really that bad and at least we would be able to see our cars on an everyday basis!

You said they don’t charge in the winter but how about the other seasons? Do you know if it is reasonable pricing or not? I would be interested in parking there if the rates were decent. ^_^

I will be a sophomore at UCM next year, and last year parking was 6$ per day at the lake during the other seasons.
Otherwise, it was free.

However, I am not sure about parking there overnight…
(they lock the lake parking lot so no cars can get in or out).
At the same time, I highly doubt the one guy who manages the lake would actually go as far as towing your vehicle for parking there overnight (especially during winter). He is pretty friendly.

ALSO,

I am from SoCal, and for those of you who are either choosing to not bring a car or are unable to because of parking…
I am willing to offer rides as long as we split gas money :]]

LMAOOOOOO wow UCM is getting funnier and funnier, what are you guys thinking going there? COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR THE WIN
