Freshman Sends Roomies List of Demands Before School

My D was in a triple at UCLA. They mutually decided to rotate beds every quarter. D’s roommates didn’t let on (or maybe they weren’t sure of their situation) that they were leaving after the Fall quarter – they were exchange students. So D got her pick for the entire year , since she arrived first – the bed with the desk underneath. Triples at UCLA that I’ve seen, don’t have a desk at the window - the room isn’t wide enough. The two built-in closets are the same size and if there are no built-in closets, then there are two exact same wardrobes.

Reminds me of this book, “So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed” – https://www.amazon.com/So-Youve-Been-Publicly-Shamed/dp/1594634017/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1474070720&sr=1-1&keywords=so+you%27ve+been+publicly+shamed

@Consolation – Well, if by saying you “judge their education,” what you meant was that, when you hear people using bad grammar, you have compassion for them because they haven’t had the educational opportunities that you’ve had, then I can’t argue with you.

Compassion? That sounds a bit too condescending. I’m sure there are plenty of ways in which they might regard me as an object of compassion.

So…any updates? They were all over social media with problems. Wondering if they are all over it now that they are moved in.
