applicantmum77, you can PM with any questions, but off the top of my head, I have to say the biggest plus is the professors and the small classes. My son was and is a good student (who is a little ADD) but would have been lost in a huge lecture hall with hundreds of students, especially for most of his classes. His Intro to Psych had under 50 students and that is almost unheard of even at small schools like Wheaton (MA) You are never able to say you couldn’t talk to the professor or didn’t have class discussions. I think for some students that is important. Of course not every professor is great, but he’s been happy with 90% of them.

It’s also a pretty safe campus and walking to the center of Madison is not like walking in NYC : ) The train to NYC for some is a blessing and they have free NJ transit rides during the year.
Again, feel free to ask questions. Enjoy your visit.
