Note that I do realize this is a huge jump, and many would argue that I foolishly picked “instability” over “stability” but please do try to understand that becoming a doctor is something I don’t have a passion for. Would you want such a doctor looking over you as a patient? …but I digress.

<p>The only people who think that a child “should” be pushed into being a doctor when he or she doesn’t have a desire or a passion for it are people who are immigrants / new to this country. Does that describe your parents?</p>
