<p>Regularly take Whitestone Bridge to Hutchinson to 684 to 84 W to Taconic Pkwy north, and return the same way. It’s a little longer than taking the Taconic from Westchester County, but I don’t like the southern portion of the Taconic. </p>
<p>Daytime, the northern Taconic is no problem. If unfamiliar with it, nighttime could be a problem.</p>
<p>Sorry to hear your daughter and friend had a problem in Penn Station. Have never had any issues there.</p>
