<p>Wes admissions told us at the info session that applicants who live in New England are at a disadvantage in the admissions process. They are looking for students from all over the country, not just those who are nearby. Those of you applying from elsewhere are fortunate in this regard.</p>
<p>Rice did the same thing this year though. They reduced the number of incoming TX students for more diversity.</p>
