I feel safe. It’s really a comfort zone deal. I went to UF this past weekend and was so… disappointed… to only see ONE blue light. I really wish I was kidding. I was walking through the union when most of the fraternities were out and it gets crazy on Wednesdays because of Market Wednesdays (basically a flea market). It takes some adjusting to not have the parents there, but if she made friends, then most people “travel” in a group. There’s so many people that the chances of something like what happened in the Union happen to your daughter almost not possible. There was apparently history behind that “brawl.” The strip has so many cops that I can’t even begin to tell you. If she were to go on the way outskirts of town (for whatever reason, I really have no idea), then you’ll see some rough areas, but that’s way away from the actual heart of the Campus and it’s surroundings.
