FSU Freshman Dorms

More than likely (it’ll depend on how many people actually apply for housing, and how many returning residents there are, etc), you’ll still be able to get a spot in housing. Will it be one of the popular dorms? Highly unlikely.

There normally was something like 750-1000 applicants for housing on the first day that it opened up when it opened the day acceptance decisions were released. I remember a friend applying our year on the second day and getting a priority number of like 1200. My priority number on the first day (granted, this was now 4 years ago), was almost 600, and I applied in the morning.

You’ll get housing, unless for some bizarre reason a significantly higher number of people apply than I’ve ever seen before. With a priority number of around 7000, you’re still often able to get on-campus housing, and I know that the numbers don’t get that high until around mid-March.
