In this article it is reported that FSU now intends to cut the size of its freshman class by 1,500. it had previously been reported that FSU was going to reduce this years class by 1,000.

I know of transfers from other universities that were turned away this year. It seems they are only taking community college transfers with AA degrees.

I believe the original class size was supposed to be 6,200 and was reduced to 5,200. In addition they are reducing transfer admits by 500.

glad to see that you submitted the housing app. sorry abot san diego. I know you are leaning toward Indiana. You really can’t go wrong with your two choices. Have you been to FSU?

I haven’t been to FSU, but I’m thinking I should visit. After getting rejected from SDSU I realized I don’t have an inexpensive option. Well I have UPortland (I got a scholarship), but I don’t really think I would like such a small school, and they don’t have the sports atmosphere I’m looking for.

But anyways, Tuition at FSU is 16k/year and tuition at Indiana is 22k/year. So over 4 years that’s 24k dollars, so I’m thinking I should give FSU another look.

if you can, i would really recommend it. I know its long hall for you, but it migt make your decision easier. you should check to see if there are any frshman preview days.

sunday march 9th at noon is FSU’s final regular season basketball game vs. Miami. it might give you a sense of the school spirit atmosphere that makes FSU so great!
