NS 441 was probably my favorite class…the only problem is that NS 331 is a prereq. I really thought I was going to enjoy NS 331, but that class was difficult and I don’t feel it was well taught. Most of my friends who took 331 feel the same way about it.

You referring to Intro to Wines? I found the class to be easy and enjoyable. If you do the reading, go over the notes, invest in Take Note and don’t leave your studying until the night before…I can guarantee you will pass. The only difficulty I had with the class was remembering the difference between left and right bank Bordeauxs.

Anyone take any astro courses at Cornell? I’m super interested in outer space, but physics… not so much. Are there a number of courses that are interesting but stay away from physics? I read about one that has a lab where I’m assuming you use telescopes since it’s late in the evenings, but anyone have recommendations?

Bump -
I’m bringing back this thread to hear more thoughts about classes for incoming freshmen…
what were your favorite classes besides those mentioned here?

the easiest class in cornell is Egyptian civilization. I have like 10 friends in that class. The average for the exams is ~100+. Thats because he puts a lot of extra bonus questions to boost your grade, though no one needs it. For the final he lets you have a cheat sheet… (whats the point when the avg is 100…)
