I once attended a fundraiser at her house. Someone opened their big mouth and suggested that if everyone there wrote a check for ten thousand dollars the fundraising would be over. My friends and I laughed all the way back to my house. We had driven the half mile and left our purses at home. We didn’t have a check for ten thousand, as a matter of fact we didn’t even have a five for the valet! No one minded that and not everyone wrote a ten thousand dollar check. We still laugh about that night.</p>
