Fundraising

intparent: Thanks for the ideas! I already plan on having several yard sales, and the yardwork is a great idea. As for my parents, they are only going to be able to contribute a small portion of the money I need.
I see where you’re coming from, but this program is something I really want to do. As for planning well enough for a program I can afford, I have yet to find a law program that I can attend that has a considerably lower price. I did some research and this program is supposed to be a wonderful experience, the only ones that looked better were the $10,000 programs at places like Harvard and Brown. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong places… And yes, it is my dream to attend Harvard, but I know that more than likely I won’t get there because of financial reasons. Unless I am able to obtain a substantial scholarship from them, Harvard is out of the picture. My ultimate goal is to go there for law school anyways, so I will hopefully have more time to get a job and save money in order to attend then.

chaseholl: The bake sale sounds like a wonderful idea, and I’m trying to sell stuff on ebay as well. As for the job, I just turned 15 in December, and while I would love to get a job, it’s going to be really hard because I am involved in tons of school activities and clubs that meet after school. I’m not sure if I should give some up in order to get a job, or just keep things the way they are. Not only that, but I’m always really busy in the summer as well… I really don’t know what I should do about that situation.
