What I said was something to the effect of “Harvard isn’t everything. Just because you don’t get in doesn’t mean you should swallow a cyanide tablet and kill yourself. I’m pretty sure other ‘second rate’ schools such as Yale, princeton, MIT, and Brown will consider you…”
and she went totally ballistic…reprimanding me on how Yale and MIT and all the other schools I mentioned were just as awesome and how snobby I am for saying such a thing and all that shiz…</p>
<p>…shocked isn’t even the word to describe what my reaction after that half a page lecture on the improtance of Harvard and Ivy league schools…</p>
