Future economists and mathematicians of America, UNITE!

Actually esquared, I was hoping that the three of us could spoon together in BJ of all places (for the record i’m straight).

I can’t wait to see the man behind the legend. I wonder if ur everything ur cracked up to be. Don’t disappoint!

(On a totally non-sexual topic) Oliver, have you visited B-J? I would like to put it as my first choice, but I haven’t visited, so I’m not sure, because I would like a double…

Unfortunately I haven’t visited any of the dorms because my visit last summer was limited to a tour and interview but I plan to check them out on the 20th. A couple friends of mine, who are at U of C now, say that although Shoreland is rumored to be “hours away” from the center of campus, it is actually one of the nicest dorms and no more than a ten minute walk or five minute bike ride from the center of campus. I plan on staying in a dorm that’s closer to campus though and from what I’ve heard B-J is one of the better options if you want to be on campus.

I also plan on staying close to campus, at least for my freshman year. My favorites from what I have read are B-J and Hitchcock…I guess as soon as I visit and know which I like, I’ll put down my deposit and hope for the best.

ECON Rocks! Not visiting campus though…We dont get springbreak the same time u guys do.

I’m quite undecided between film and econ (not muhc in common huh?) but I am leaning towards econ lately. See y’all in April!

I’m an econ major who’s going to be there on the 20th and 21st, and hopefully also in the fall.

Chicago or Wellesley?

i’m an econ major but unfortunately as I live in the UAE, I won’t be able to visit. My IB exams start beginning of May.

ECON- whoooohooooo
I’ll be there on the 20-21st

PS- I don’t think that I look like a hampster :)

Econ AND math for me! I’m not visiting before the fall, but I will hopefully see you all then!

ANY GIRLS majorin in Economy? and HONESTLY, Wellesley or Chicago?

I’m 99.999999% sure that brooke_u is a girl. Does someone know something that I don’t?

Just kidding. The “other girl” you’re looking for posted right above you.

As for Wellesley or Chicago, I hope that’s a joke. Chicago is the clear victor regardless of where your interests lie.

Oopsies, i TOTALLy did not c Brooke. Econ sounds so math-based. And lets just say that MATh is not my all-time favorite at school.

is it your some-time fave?

I’ll be double majoring in econ and poli-sci.
(I’m a girl)

Nope, not at all. How much of Econ is based on math anyway?
WE ROCK!!! We should have Econ girls United on a separate thread.

I believe there is some math involved, statistics and stuff…it’s a lot of theory though, so…not HARD CORE CALCULUS THREE kind of stuff…

I am about 75% sure that I will be majoring in math. The Intermediate Greek class that I am currently auditing at the U. of C. has proven me not fit enough for a major in classics. Homeric Greek truly puts one to the test, though I can’t say that math is any lesser a feat to accomplish. Classics, and biology, as a matter of fact, are still open options, though.

And I must say that, although I will most likely be a math major, a math/econ major leaves little to be desired.

I am a girl, as well.

Hey that’s not too bad at all! But Esquared I thought u were majoring in psych.
