<p>My husband & I are both LSU alums and from the time my kids could talk they could yell ‘Geaux Tigers’. If you have a decent ACT score the scholarships for OOS kids are fabulous. I’m guessing that’s a big draw! </p>
<p>mypsych97, which school are you from? My son will be a senior at Austin in FBISD. While we were touring we ran into a football player from Clements who was hoping to attend also.</p>
<p>Sleepy, I think she meant 11 of the 15 percent were from Texas. Which makes sense considering the top 10% rule pushing many awesome students away from UT.</p>
<p>I had emailed her originally to ask if there were any events in Houston for kids interested in LSU, but I guess there weren’t since she didn’t mention any in her reply.</p>
