<p>This is something you’d have had to done sooner. (I emailed admissions in December or January to switch my application from Steinhardt to CAS, and since they hadn’t reviewed it or made a decision, they switched my application.) If you are LSP’d, I’m pretty sure you have to wait til Sophomore year and apply to Gallatin as in internal transfer and I don’t think it’d be that big of a deal. (Since some Gallatin applicants do get LSP’d anyway). If you haven’t heard yet, I’d contact admissions ASAP. Call and tell them your situation, how you visited and that changed your mind about it, and you are wondering if you can be considered for it. It doesn’t hurt to try. If not, apply for an internal transfer for sophomore year.</p>
