Gaming Program/Portfolio

Hi Asylar,

You are correct that our gaming programs are some of our most competitive majors. We will be doing portfolio reviews at both of our Fall Open Houses, as well as the Gaming Open House you mentioned that takes place in November. For all of these portfolio review days (and any others), you need to make sure you register in advance to set up an appointment for your portfolio to be reviewed. We will share the information for how to register for these reviews when we send out information about these open house events. We will also have a few additional portfolio review dates later in the season, which we will be posting on the web soon.

As far as doing the portfolio, I’d start thinking about what you want to do now! It’s a good idea to start planning and preparing so that when school starts up again, you don’t find yourself juggling too many responsibilities at once. It’ll also give you more time to think about your answers to the written component of this portfolio. You can see our expectations for each portfolio here: [Portfolio Requirements | Undergraduate Admission | Champlain College](http://www.champlain.edu/undergraduate-studies/admission/applying-to-champlain/portfolio-requirements.html)
My only other advice is something you’re already investigating - attending a Portfolio Review. It’s a great opportunity to actually have your portfolio evaluated and given feedback by the same people who will be scoring it down the road.

I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
