<p>I am with the purists regarding flavor when using a tradition charcoal grill but for convenience you can’t beat a Weber. I have been known to grill outside during snowstorms - in fact, it is an Elleneast ritual. </p>

<p>My grate is cast iron and I have been happy with it.</p>

<p>I AM going to try the smoke chips mentioned above to imbue more flavor when cooking on my gas grill.</p>
