<p>i have a question: you know how we all sent in our applications before jan 13th (the deadline)… are we just waiting now-- we don’t send them any kind of info [fafsa, etc] unless they notify us and let us know we got accepted into the second round do we?</p>

<p>Do you know if they’re still sending out letters about finalists? Because I’m still waiting… anxiously… for mine.</p>
<p>I called the GMSP hotline the other day to check my status, it said something like, “A letter has been sent to you informing you of your application status.”</p>
<p>I don’t know how long ago it was sent out, but things have been getting lost in my mail recently… and I’m really nervous. And about to be sorely disappointed, I think, but hope runs eternal. Any info would be heaven.</p>

<p>Nope, nothing in the mail so far. I have no idea how long ago they sent the letter out… so I don’t know. Maybe I’ll call them tomorrow and ask directly what’s going on. This waiting is murder!</p>
<p>sry what I meant to say is that the finalists will be notified before April 10 (UNF)-you should have already be contacted if you made it to round #2.</p>
<p>If we got the scholarship, what is the GPA we would have to maintain to continue to receive the money? Is it a 3.3, the average we needed to be qualified for the scholarship in the first place?</p>

<p>I called GMSP today to speak to a live person, she told me she sent out the letter earlier this week, so it should be arriving today or tomorrow. A letter? Letter of rejection? Or good news? I have no idea, but it’s killing me.</p>
<p>I’m thinking the SAME thing… everytime I called and checked my status on the automated thing it would say “GMS is currently processing nomination materials”… but now it says “A letter has been sent to you regarding your nomination status”… 
lol but I’m still anxious to see my rejection letter… sigh…</p>

<p>I found out I got WAITLISTED at Johns Hopkins but I didn’t expect to get in at all… UT AUSTIN was my first and only choice! hook em horns (lol) but you guys let me know when u get whatever letter so I can know if they’re all rejection letters or somethin else :|</p>
<p>I got into Northwestern!! Still waiting on Columbia, but with their record low acceptance rate this year, I am very content with Northwestern :)</p>
