…its the Gates finalist frothing at the mouth that they should be wary of. Okay, deep breaths brothers and sisters. Any other Native American/American Indian finalists here? I am feeling my ethnic groups stat of less than 1% about now. </p>
<p>And, are we competing against all finalists or just those in our ethnic grouping? Do they award a certain percentage to each subsection group? Never thought about that previously.</p>
<p>@Sinaj Yes, we are competing against finalists only in our ethnic group. Out of the 500 finalists in each ethnic group, 250 will be selected as Scholars.</p>
<p>Whew! I feel better about my chances now. Easier to be a bigger fish in a smaller pool.Thank you so much. Waiting to jump the mailman around noon. </p>
