<p>Hey, shrinkage also refers to stealing from the store by the store’s employees or customers. That association crossed my mind.</p>
<p>I gots-ta-know. Is the alternative definition for “shrinkage” in the dictionary yet?? :)</p>

<p>Surprise thread for me too. But since I’m here, I’ll give my useless advice on this subject. </p>
<p>First of all, I am a failure in shrinking anything that needs to be shrunk. It even stretches out. Anything that fits just so, will shrink terribly. My gremlins love to have fun with me this way. As for dry cleaning, I have nearly none. For my slacks, absolutely zero, and I hate to iron too. </p>
<p>I bought two gorgeous linen dresses in the prettiest spring colors some years ago, and they just got sold at my yard sale. THe danged things looked like they came from a rummage sale (they now have) 5 minutes after I put them on. They were stunning dresses up till wrinkle time. They were snatched up at my sale in minutes, but at least now they did come from a rummage sale.</p>
<p>Good luck with the slacks. My advice: PM dmd77 and ask to send the slacks to her to treat.</p>
<p>Just got home from a week long cruise…ALL my pants shrunk while waiting in the closet for my return. :)</p>
