<p>I completely agree with your advice. I would also like to add some of my own:</p>
<p>For history:</p>
<p>1) Abbreviate! </p>
<p>French = Fr.
English = Eng.
Austro-Prussian War = A-P War
Napoleon = Nap </p>
<p>2) Use the entire sheet of paper. I like to put the year in the margins. If you ever read a Barron’s history book then you know what I’m talking about. Putting the years in the margin helps me know where I’m at. It’s a lot better than scanning your messy handwriting for an obscured date.</p>
