Great feedback thanks! We scheduled a trip for early December…Thankfully we live in the mountains so we are okay with winters. The campus itself and the town sound perfect for her, she’s very much about the feel. And the poli sci/IR program is really strong too. She also applied at Michigan but that’s a huge reach, so we wanted another Big 10 type to get a feel for big campus life.

She loved it. Even bought a sweatshirt lol. Moved to top of list. What a great town, loved Kirkwood. Figure it’s even nicer in spring and fall. Waiting on honors and merit now…

iu sophomore who can second this. love the campus and vibe in the fall. yes it can get a bit cold but the scenery and everything surrounding it is unbelievable

Wisconsin might have been a more achievable alternative in the BIG with strong poli sci. Liberal yada yada yada.
Yep she applied there too. And Michigan. I prefer Wisconsin (if she gets in) but love IU too
