My DD withdrew her app to another school before she heard their decision, on the theory that it might mean someone who would otherwise have been waitlisted would get an offer when decisions were initially released. Might be too late in the game for that now, but I think tell other schools you’ve applied to as soon as you know you’re going elsewhere is a fine principle.
