Generational Divide and Internet Slang - Is anyone else having this problem?

Okay, if it was not capitals, then she was being ridiculous.

You can look at it as a “generational divide” or being “old” - or you can just look at it as a learning opportunity. To say “I must be old” is an excuse to not figure it out or learn it. Even millennials had to learn at some point what LOL and ROTFL meant - people of any age can do the same!

Nothing makes me feel older than getting a new car and having trouble trying to do something that used to be simple, like turning on the radio and finding a certain FM station. It’s something you should be able to do without consulting the 80-page manual that comes with the info/entertain system
.

My DD likes make up, so we hear all about looking “beat face” and “snatched”. She used to say “on fleek” but that has died down.
