Geniuses or hard-worker types at Harvard?

Yea i know exactly what you mean. they like to convey that “natural genius” persona…but it is easy to see right through that

I agree as well. Sheesh, those kinds of people should just go all out and say “I’m successful, I’m smart, because I work harder than you! Hah!” - just like what I say :p

I think there are mainly hard workers. I think the geniuses are rackin’ it up at MIT.

the word genius is way overabused. I’d say <5% genius, definitely.

True true…

In my opinion, if you know someone who study as much as others, or less than them and get into Harvard, he is a genius.
But if he study much more than others and get into Havard, he is a hard-worker.
Agree/Disagree?

It’s certainly possible to be both a genius and a hardworker, you know, but I’d wager that many of those who work excessively hard in high school are crossing the line into insanity.

According to Edison, they are the same thing.

“Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.” --Thomas Alva Edison

Yeah, but considering the fact that Edison hired others for many of his patents, I’m not using his defnition.
