Daughter accepted to Mech Eng, 3.9UW, 4.3W, 1550 SAT, 5 AP’s, handful of honors, received robotics scholarship of $28k a year.
Scholarship info was included in the letter, but not other forms of financial aid.
Daughter got in! 17k presidential scholarship per year. 4.0 weighted GPA (School does not report unweighted GPAs) 7 APs and 9 Honors. Got into the Milken Institute, School of Public Health. Went test optional.
Daughter accepted with $28k/year scholarship, but no mention of honors program, which she did apply for. Chem major, 1540 SAT, GPA 102+. Will have 7 APs and 2 IBs by the time she graduates, 4s and 5s on the tests she’s already taken. Solid but not extraordinary ECs. Wrote 2 good essays for Honors Program, disappointed she didn’t get in.
