Is there absolutely no way to check it online?
Not until the 15th I don’t think
How long do they take to mail? I live on the West Coast. Should I expect it Monday?
Hi! About me: I have a 4.5 weighted GPA (we are an IB school so no AP classes, this is the highest GPA I can get) and a 1490 SAT but the subject tests were 780 English 690 Math 1 (whoops) and a 620 Biology (yikes and a half - our curriculum is different but also my fault for not researching).
I have a 35 ACT and I’m a National Merit Semifinalist ranked 3rd in my school (hopefully that will make up for the SAT and subject tests).
I dance 9 hrs/week, play the piano and violin, mentor children with adverse childhood experiences and participate in a couple of clubs at school, including our TV studio, Aevidum, HOSA, and FBLA. I hope to major in English.
I’m a little worried score wise about getting in but my main reason for writing this is: Georgetown is supposed to send physical letters and the EA results are supposed to come back the 15th. But thats a Sunday?
Yes, I assume that mail for people will come either today or Saturday, but the website might say what the decision is on Sunday?
Oh see that makes logical sense. Sometimes I’m unable to think like a person. Huge thanks to you and your brain.
Lol lets hope that brain gets me in XD
Not in the mail for me today in Florida. I hope they post in the portal on Sunday or it looks like Monday! Good luck to everyone!
ughhh informed delivery
“There are 2 mailpieces for which we do not currently have images that are included in Today’s mail.”
Mine says 50 cnts. Aw man
any hope? I live in New Jersey so it might not need expensive shipping.
Mine says 50 cents too and I live in NY. Last years thread had people with 67 and 49 cents get acceptances so I am not losing hope
what time do you guys in NJ/NY usually receive mail
According to my informed delivery, my letter has a 65 cent stamp and I live in NY! (and I think stamp prices are based on weight, not distance traveled. But I’m not positive)
I usually get my mail between 12-2
Informed delivery shows .50, windowed envelope in NY sucks
Don’t let that get you down! Just because there is a conspiracy that acceptance letters and deferrals have a certain look does not mean it is strictly like that.
thank youu
looked at my informed delivery and i don’t see a letter from GU from Ohio
For some reason, Georgetown is sending a letter to my dad as well who is an alumni and former adjunct professor at Georgetown. Maybe its related to admissions but I don’t really know. I also have a .65 postage. Hoping that these are good signs
NJ, .50 stamp, deferral. hoping RD shows me better luck because I really can’t see myself going anywhere else lol
