Rejected 1570 SAT IB diploma 2nd place ICDC my favorite essays I ever wrote. I don’t even know what to say.
They said they were able to give seats to only 13% of well-qualified candidates… so you may be the other 87% who were qualified, but did not make the cut when ‘shaping the class’. Don’t worry.
Accepted! DS is beyond delighted as GU is his first choice. We are in DMV and received a letter this afternoon. Never got a HoyaAlert, and Informed Delivery claims that we haven’t gotten mail all week lol.
wGPA 4.85, 1490 SAT, 12 AP classes, sibling at GU, top 2% of very large public high school, captain of sports team that went to states.
Best of luck to everyone else. GU is a great school, but certainly not the only school.

georgetown is very particular about their class. at my school many people get into harvard, yale, princeton, and stanford but get rejected from georgetown. I wouldn’t dwell on it too much; just have faith for tonight!
