Your son’s stats and background are very similar to our S who is currently a senior at Georgetown. S was a co-val (4.0 - 4.45) in HS (suburban public HS class of 251; SAT 2150; ACT 34) and was admitted RD (didn’t apply EA). One of the biggest things to help your son is that he is #1 or #2 in his class. GU loves the top of the class. In S’s GU class of 2015, 49% of his entering class at GU were #1, #2, or #3 in their HS graduating classes according to the comments made in the convocation speech by University President DeGoia. Your son should continue to show interest by contacting his Adcom along with providing any other positive information.
