Continued interest can’t hurt you. Our S is a senior at Georgetown and is currently applying to law schools. He got waitlisted at Duke so he took it upon himself to arrange for a visit and an admissions interview on campus. He was told at the end of the interview that he could hear back anytime from the next week to the first day in August before classes start. The interview must have gone well as he received an email from the Dean of Admissions at 630 PM on the day of his interview notifying him of his acceptance. Obviously, the numbers applying for undergraduate admissions are much higher than grad or law school but this does show that continued interest and student initiative can work and payoff in some cases. Good luck to all of you who are waiting on the RD decisions. I am sorry that you will have to wait until the end of March to receive your final decision.
