It means nothing. I just checked with my friend (2.9 GPA 990 SAT) who applied for comp sci as a huge, impossible basically reach, and he has the countdown.
(that’s a bit harsh)
oh okay I got the countdown just now thanks tho
sadly the truth tho ![]()
He knows this and said he applied just because he had a fee waiver. He would be fine with what I wrote, because he agrees.
There is a github script that someone made that tracks the /apply/update page and waits for a non 404 answer. I’ll let yall know when my decision letter is uploaded.
Yes, and if you click on the image, it takes you to a countdown clock to 7PM ![]()
Yep!
Can you please send link?
Setting your computer clock forward doesn’t work sadly, it just sets the countdown timer to say “Refresh [your] browser”.
send link pls ![]()
Man, why is that whenever I want time to go slow (like if I am on a vacation) time moves ultra fast but then when I am waiting for decisions, it moves ultra slowly
working on it
Okay. There’s a github repo with two items - the binary and the .env.
You need the id and uid from the ping network request in the inspect window.
Also you’ll need Pushover because that’s what “DonkeyHotay” used to receive the alerts. use pushover(.)net to setup and find your apikey and groupkey. Fill all that in with .env
I cannot guarantee perfect results or that this will work for you. All I know is that this is checking the /apply/updates page to determine if theres something new.
the github repo is Throwawayman11/decisionwatch.
Repository not found.
too new? I tried on my cellular device while logged out and it was fine.
i didnt get this message in folio
forgot to mention this is most likely Unix only. Rust is pretty good at being agnostic with libraries, but untested on Mac/Windows.
what does it say for you?
