Son received the option for the Talent Initiative Transfer Pathway Program for Fall 2025 admission. This is based on Pell grant eligibility this year.
Question - If he is no longer Pell Grant eligible next year (based on our combined income this year), will he still be able to do the transfer if he maintains GPA/course requirements?
Rip. Probably even worse for CS/CE. Now I get why people say a deferral is a soft rejection.
Email their admissions office for the most accurate answer.

It’s not. 20% defer acceptance rate is similar to the overall acceptance rate.
But the deferred pool is far more competitive.

Absolutely shocked to be honest, but DS accepted! Did not have folio thing in Canvas. Applied to EE, may have played a role. 35 ACT, good ECs, 4.48 W, 4.0W, Class rank 5 out of 300, strong essays, pretty good LORs. Very excited!
