You seem to be a little bit indecisive about your major choice…which is perfectly okay and expected! Let me just say that UIUC makes it nearly impossible for anyone not admitted into a particular school to transfer into it. For example, if you were admitted into Econometrics/Quant Econ at UIUC and realize that you want a major in the Gies Business School, it is very difficult to change. At GT, however, it is very easy to change majors. However, both schools are solid and have similar reputations…think of whether you’ll be happier in Illinois or Georgia.
