The U.S. Naval Academy didn’t look very long – or very far – to find Paul Johnson’s successor.</p>

<p>One day after Johnson told his players and academy officials that he was leaving Annapolis after six seasons for Georgia Tech, athletic director Chet Gladchuk announced that assistant head coach Ken Niumatalolo would be promoted.</p>
