My spring break is March 10th to March 31st. I’m not going on vacation…this is so painful.

Ok…comments on the blog have been disabled…last time they were down, they released EA decisions…

Decisions are up…at least for me. I got rejected though, but I expected that. Dammit, all that work I put into the application was completely useless.

^ … WHAT? Please tell me you’re joking.

IdontwannacheckIdontwannacheckIdontwannacheck. Can’ty someone just blindfold me in September and drive me to the colleges I got into and THEN I’ll find out?

Waitlisted. Kill myself or dance around in joy?

Wait, what? RD decisions are up?

I just checked mine and I’m rejected, but Chicago wasn’t too high on my list so I’m not disappointed. I had to send in 2 bad recommendations where my name was even misspelled. I am not sure if they received all materials and I applied for financial aid as an international student. The only thing that bothers me: from all the places that I applied to, UChicago has the highest acceptance rate. I hope I don’t have to worry that I don’t get in anywhere.

Waitlisted, kill me.

Waitlisted…not sure what to do now; trying to strategize about what to do, but unsure what would be best. What new stuff is okay/good to send in?

Does anybody know someone who got rejected by Chicago but got into an Ivy? Is it likely to happen?

Yes, a friend of a friend applied last year and was rejected from Chicago, but accepted at Dartmouth.
